I just started getting this error two days ago when using dvd decrypter.

I/O Error
Device [1:0:0] Sony DVD RW DW-U14A 2.0c (E:) (ATA)
SCSISTATUS 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 2A 00 00 13 4C 20 00 00 20 00
Interpretation: Write (10)- Sectors 1264672-1264703
Sense Area 70 00 06 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 29 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Power On, Reset or Bus Device Reset Occured

I have never seen this before. I have backed up like 200 movies and I am not doing anything differently. I know the copy I am using is good and it does not do it with every movie I put in.

I forgot to add that it does this at different parts of the process. It is never in the same place.
