DRE - Tryed alot of FAQS, Need help !!

I'm dealing with a SCPH-50001 DRE (Disc Read Error)

I have tried various guides for repairs, but when it comes to find the "voltage adjusters" We can't find them.

Could someone post a link, or post pictures on how to effectivly change the voltage in a PS2

duno if sony will fix it now that is was opened. ajusting the voltage in that new of a ps2 is poinless . the laser needs replaced and possably the laser driver (la) chip also .

when you call sony just dont tell them that you opened it..as long as you didnt mod it i think it should be ok..go and read the faqs by kabutohunter at gamefaqs

I do have a fliptop installed on it, but I can take that off, I still have the original skin. Thanks.

run a Google on cleaning ps2 laser lens (realign it too). i've never done it but I heard it's pretty easy
