i have used dvd decrypter and also nero smart start, neither have worked, the plystation2 logo comes up and then the ps2 goes back to the memory card screen and then to the red screen,the closet i got to a running copy it was skipping like crazy, can anyone help me??

Try reading from/writing to the disc at a slower speed. This usually helps me. Also, it may be due to the DVD Diiscs that you are using. Some discs do not work.
Also if all that fails try Game Jack 4.0. This software always works for me.
