xbox to pc kills internet when enabled

hi,

after a couple of days or hardcore effort i managed to get my xbox linked up to my pc, with a corssover cable etc... so i can ftp to it. IP is 192.168.0.2 and domain 192.168.0.1

that works great, except now whenever i enable the NIC card connected to the xbox the internet dies. and it only comes back to life when i disable the xbox NIC. its a bit of an arse cos i wanna use xbox connect.

anyone got an idea whats going on?
