I have cingular voice service with a motorola v220 phone. I have installed phone tools software and hooked up to my laptop with the usb cable. Transferring contacts/calendar/pictures and sounds works fine.
I have tried to connect to a netzero dialup account and get a message that the remote modem is not responding. Do I have to add a data subscription to my cingular account to use the phone as my modem for remote internet connecting or is there a workaround that I am missing? If I dial the dialup # manually it connects and starts squeeling like a fax or data connection.
