What is the difference in audio between LPCM and DTS 5.1? i ask this because i have a demo dvd, that says it plays in dts 5.1, but, when i played it on my pc with my digital sound card and my surround sound system, (in other words i have the requirements to play dts)it would come up on my decoder saying that it was playing in dts, but when i told powerdvd to show info on the dvd at the time it was playing it brought up the little screen that tells you the video and audio of the dvd you are watching, and it said LPCM for the audio not DTS 5.1. do you know what that means?
Thanx

It's my understanding that DTS (Digital Theater Systems) uses lossy compression from a PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) source. I hope this helps.
