v3 PS2 with matrix infinity v1.38 modchip, installed myself.
Last night i finished everything and the ps2 was working fine.
This morning it wont boot - red / blue / green LEDs work fine and disc drive seems to be spinning and loading correctly ( i replaced the laser yesterday ), however i get no graphics or audio on screen.

After 30 boot attempts it booted about twice, both times the game that booted yesterday did not boot (ie modchip seemed to not be functioning).

I removed the 3.3v wire from the mod chip and it seemed to boot fine (but slower)
This all is very strange

Any ideas?

Check all your connections for open and short circuits. Could be a wire barely touching somewhere.
