Hello
I cannot get .sub files to work with my Pioneer DV-575A.
I?ve upgraded to firmware to 2.09.

On www.pioneer.com i?ve read that with the new firmware subtitles would work.

?For external subtitle files the following subtitle format filename extensions are supported (please note that these files are not shown within the disc navigation menu): .srt, .sub, .ssa, .smi
? Some external subtitle files may not be displayed correctly or not at all.
? The filename of the movie file has to be repeated at the beginning of the filename for the external subtitle file.
? The number of external subtitle files amongst which can be switched for the same movie file is limited to a maximum of 10.?

In the subtitle file I?ve got 3 files: *.rar *.idx and *.ifo.
I?ve unpacked the *.rar file, and inside there is a *.sub file.
I?ve burnt sub file named exactly as the movie and the *.avi file.
But I cannot get it to work

Can anyone help me?
