i have heard the darker the purple dye used in dvd media,the better the quality.is that true?
can anyone explain the make up of media? people often quote "use this,use that" type of media.i.e ritek often appears.....but isnt ritek a brand of purple dye that is used.i have seen certain types of media,which are not labelled up as being ritek,but have the ritek trademark printed on the edge of the disc.
i am not to up to date with this sort of info,so any input would be great
