i bought a sanyo dvd recorder from wal-mart for a gift to my daughter and son in law.they had to take 4 back,it was not working.the employees opened 2 before one would work.they took it hometo watch a dvd and it stopped working and they could not remove the dvd disc.
they got the money back and went to best buy.they bought a sharp combo vhs dvd recorder.it was hooked up and the dvd would not work.they were ready to give up and get there money back.the manager asked them to try a sony dvd recorder.so they said would try one more time.they have not tried it yet.what if any is a good dvd recorder?they have movies taken with a sony camcorder of there almost 3 year old daughter that they would like to transfer to dvd.any suggestion on a different make?
