Captured video not able to be edited by Studio 9

Hi
I captured analogue video using winfast Tv expert 2000.
Apparently this captured in mpeg2 .
When i try to edit it with Studion 9 i get an error.
Studio does not support this progressive scan ( non interlaced )MPEG2 video file format.

I have the captured video still on my h/drive and would like to edit it with studio 9 as all of the other videos i have done work and work well.
Is there any way to convert these files to become compliant without spending hours re capturing the video.
