Hi,

As I don't trust my soldering skills, and I don't want to break the warranty on my PS2, I am very interested in buying a 'Slide Card + Swap Magic V3.3'. However, with most things, there have got to be some disadvantages with this product. What are they? Does it actually work like it says it does? Is no installation needed whatsoever? Will it play just normal downloaded games burnt onto a CD-R or does it need special types? Any info much appreciated for a newbie to this. My PS2 model number is SCPH-50003.

yes it does work,but disadvantage is its a bit awkward at first to find the slider bar under the tray,but would recommend it until warranty runs out

for me taking the clip part off was the hardest, since i was reading these instructions and it made it seem like theres 2 things you have to take off i mean they wrote a page of it and all you have to do is freaking pull off a little clip a damn child can do that in seconds... but the slidecard is simple finding the right spot is so easy
