I recently just purchased HD advance 2.0 Pal version, i have a PAL PS2 with a modchip installed but i don't have a clue what chip it is.

I hope someone could shed some light on what modchip i have installed, this is how the modchip works:

-First of all for me to run PS1 games and DVD films i would have to turn on my PS2 by holding the standby/reset button until the blue light of the eject button lights up.

-Another way to run DVD films is that i would have to go to the browser load the DVD and the PS2 would read it as a PS2 disc, then i would have to eject the DVD and load it again for my PS2 to read it as a DVD film.

-All PS2 games load up normally, this includes imports.

I think my installed chip could be either the MATRIX MESSIAH DNS-1002P or MATRIX DNS-1003(MX3), but im not sure.

Anyway I have no problems converting PAL games, but when i try to convert my imports NTSC games i get the messege "Disc inserted not a valid PlayStation2 disc!"

Would i have to purchase a NTSC version HD advance 2.0 to convert my imports? Or am i doing something wrong.

Thanks
