I've read several documents on good and bad brand name to buy, or to watch out for.
Has anyone heard of a brand Arita and if it is a brand to stay away from for DVD backing up.

The Arita disks that i have purchased in the past have been B-graded from www.svp.co.uk. Had no problems with them at all even in my old NEC ND 1300a which was the most problematic drive for media compatability that i ever owned.
