Problem w/ CloneDVD 3

I'm having trouble getting CloneDVD 3 to work. What I'm trying to do is copy one DVD9 onto two DVD5s, and I'm using the default settings for that (no compression). When it gets to the end of the second disc with some movies (Patton and The Manchurian Candidate, but not King Arthur) is puts up an error message like this:

Current movie size 4513 exceeds your specified target size 4489, please remove some necessary content.

The numbers are irrelevent as far as I can tell -- it's chosing the settings automatically, so I don't see why it's having a problem.

I can copy these two movies just fine with DVD Shrink, so I think the media is fine at both ends of the process. (I changed to CloneDVD because I want to split now rather than shrink. I just got a big projector and I can see artifacts in a lot of my shrunk DVDs.)

I downloaded and installed AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter, and they appear to work fine. Specifically (for example), I decrypted The Manchurian Candidate with DVD Decrypter onto my hard drive, and got no error messages, but when I then tried to produce a pair of discs from that output, I got the same error message from CloneDVD as before. Very strange.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
