Need help burning normal video files into DVD's

I just got a dvd burner and its great, ripping dvd's is fast and easy. I would like to know if anybody could help me figure out how to burn regular video files such as tv shows etc into a dvd format then onto the dvd. As of now i do not have any software to do that that i know of. I have Nero OEM Suite right now but i didnt find any capabilities to do that with that software. Also how to i burn "repacked" movie files? Any help would be great!! Thank you guys!
