Hi,please help me to make a Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 boot disk.
The cd wont boot.
I can only do a clean insatll from hdd but when trying to delete drives it says it cant be deleted cuz it needs some files off it.
I made a small partition and installed home on it and installed mce on the big one but if i delete the home partition system becomes unbootable.
Any Help will be appreciated.
I'm so desperate and i forgot to say that if home is installed and mce too it doesnt ask which one to boot.
If i could make xp show "press any key to boot CD"i might bring it to work.
I tried changing boot order cdrom/harddrive/harddrive and ill try some other but im sure it wont work.
So what do i gotta do.

Why not just type up an email with the information needed like you were going to send it to someone and then copy and paste it in here. That could work. Just like when you need help from others, they appreciate it when that help is returned.

How To Make An Windows XP Media Center Boot Disk.
01. Copy The Windows XP Media Center Disc1 To '\WindowsXPmce\CD 1' And Windows XP Media Center Disc2 To 'WindowsXPmce\CD 2'.
02. Make Sure You Have Microsoft Corporation.img.

04. Open Nero Burning Rom.

06. Click On The Box In The Left Of 'Image File',Browse And Select The Microsoft Corporation.img.
07. Make Sure that the box in the left of 'Enable expert settings(for advanced users only!)is checked.
08. Make Sure The Following Are As I Say:
Kind of emulation - No emulation
Boot message - Nero Boot-Loader V6.0
Load segment of sectors (hex!) - 07C0
Number of loaded sectors - 4.
09. Click On The 'ISO' Tab And Make Sure Data Mode Is Set To Mode 1 , File System ISO 9660+Joliet.
10. Click On The 'Label' Tab And Make Sure It's Set To Automatic And Choose A Name For Your Disc.
11. Click On The 'Dates' Tab And Make Sure Everything Is Unchecked And Under 'File dates', 'Use the date and time from the original file' Is The Chosen Option.
12. Click On The 'Misc' Tab And Make Sure That Everything Under 'Caching' Is Checked and Set To 64 KB.
13. Click New.
14. Browse to '\WindowsXPmce\CD 1' In The Column From Right And Highlight All The Files Inside The Folder 'CD 1' And Drag Them In The Column From Left.
***Note:*** You Can Copy The 'CD 2' On The Same Disc With 'CD 1' But Change To 'DVD-ROM (Boot)' Instead Of 'CD-ROM (Boot)'.
When You Need To Add 'CD 2'Just Browse To It, Highlight The Files Inside The Folder And Drag Them In The Left Column.
15. Click On 'Recorder' Then 'Burn Compilation'.
16. Make Sure The Box Called 'Finalise CD (No further writing possible), The Write Speed Is The Slowest Possible And That The Write Method Is Disc At Once.
