i belive this is the right forum im new to messing around with media but my thing is i bought a pack of dvd-r's because i thought mine was a hybrid but now it is aparent it is not and i have these laying around just wonderd if there was a firmware to make them work the burner is lite-on dvd+rw sohw-802s i just wanna know if i can junk these cds or if theyl work for me and itd be nice cause i can buy the cheaper discs :)

There are just a few burner drives I have heard of that can be converted from +R burners to both formats. If there is one for your drive it should be on this site.

http://www.rpc1.com.

They cover most firmware on that site.
