I burnt Resident Evil 2 with a Memorex DVD+R and it worked on my dvd player, then i tried burning Harold and kumar with Mitsumi DVD-R and it doesnt work with dvd player. Whats goin on

It could be quite a few things. One is maybe your player doesn't like -R. Another thing it could be is the disk you burned was a dud. Maybe you have a bad batch of Mitsumi. Maybe you did something different when you backed up whitecastle. I learned early to invest in a couple of - and + RWs so I didn't waste blanks. If it's working whith the Memorex, why did you not stick with it? There are people on AD who don't like Memorex. I've been using them for years and have only had 7 coasters out of over 300, and I think it was do to my error not the media. Find something that works for you and stick with it.
