I have a little trouble reading/understading your post, but it seems to me that you ask how to make a .CUE file.

Now this is a direct copy & paste from the READ1ST thread that you said you have read. Summary: Make it manually with notepad, save, burn.

----
3) I have a .BIN file but no .CUE?

.CUE can be made with just Notepad. A typical Playstation(One or 2) .CUE file looks like this:

FILE "IMAGE.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 1 MODE2/2352
INDEX 1 00:00:00

A typical PC CD-ROM .CUE looks like this:

FILE "IMAGE.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

Notice the difference of the track mode - PC-ROMs being Mode 1, Playstations CDs Mode 2 and (Super)Video CDs are also MODE2/2352.

If you want to convert between file formats (BIN->ISO), then I think CDMage was the right tool for the job. Note that changing format doesn't benefit you in any way. Try burining it with BlindWrite or Alcohol.

"the file is 705,41MB" you need a 90min (800mb) cdr for a bin/cue burn to do it with overburn.

Hustla, Biosgain,

705mb should fit to a 700mb CD-R quite nicely. Test with simulation mode if you need verification.

Hustla, I have had this error with the latest version of Nero, and have been able to get around this by changing mode from TAO to DAO, (disk at once). Let me know if this works for you too!

right before you burn, where you select the speed you change from Track at Once to Disk at Once.

You DON'T NEED EXOTIC CDs in order to burn >700 MB images.

A 74 min CD (650 MB data) can contain images up to 747 MB! This because they are "RAW images" and they are burned 2352 bytes/sectors instead of 2048 bytes/sectors (so you gain 14% disk space).

So, create an appropriate .CUE file (cut-and-paste from above. If VCD type MODE2/2352), open it with, for instance, CDRWin (The Simplest burning apps) and go! Your image will fit on a 74 min CD.
