i tried the movie The Forgotten and have problems

first of all this is a columbia movie and i know about some of the movies that Shrink wont work on i.e. resident evil, little black book, and know that you need the new dvdd to decript it.

so here the problem

i used the new dvdd 3.5.2.0 to dycript and its works fine. i did the whole disc and can watch the movie with PowerDVD. This is great, but i need to compress to put on a disc.

here the problem now
shrink wont reconize the files after dvdd decripts them
i get an error right away

i tried different procedures like dvdd just the movie and still the same problem.

i been tring different thing with no results, any advice.

Did you open up DVDShrink and click on re-author? open up DVDShrink. Instead of chosing to open the disc. Click on re-author and go to the folder you have the VOB files saved in. Then look down the list and you twill see the movie called title 1 somthing like that. Drag that over and try to copy the movie that way.

Download Super Dvd Copy (do yahoo search) you get 20 free tries. Works great, but it split the movie into full working movies for Full Screen and Wide Screen.

Used no other software to decrypt, just Super Dvd Copy.

thanks for advice but,
i go to re-auther and shrink sees all the stuff except the movie (there no movie to drag over)

this is wierd because if i look at the folder where all the files are in, the movie is there.

Look at the again the movie file is called title 1 somtimes they have title 1 and title 2. one for widescreen and one for full screen. Somties they have two titles with diffrent angels. Drag the file named Title into Shrink that is the movie file.

Here is an example of where the main movie is listed.

The main movie is named title 1 or title 2 depending on how many versions of the movie they have on the DVD

i agree with you but the movie files are not showing up

i get this in the list
Main Movie
Title 3 02:39 0,395 MB
Title 4 01:45 0,278 MB
Title 5 00:37 0,105 MB

you can see there is no movie

i got to try some stuff and i think that DVDD is not dycripting The Forgotten the right way. i dont think that it is shrink that is the problem

this movie comes out soon, maybe other people will get the same problem.
