When I playback my backup of The Terminal it only plays a couple seconds of a chapter then skips to the next one, and so on. The disc plays fine on my computer and I have ripped/burned numerous other movies the same way (even with the same media) with no problems playing back on my dvd player. What could be causing this problem? I'm ripping/burning on my mac using MTR and DVD2oneX with Toast. My dvd player is a sony and has always worked great with dvd-r's.

I have had the same exact problem, using the same software on my MAC with the same movie. When I play it on any other DVD except my Sony, it works fine. Anyone who I have loaned the movie to and had a Sony DVD player had the same problem.
