Problem with Nero 6 ? unable to burn DVD (No menu selection)

Under the DVD option on Nero, when I select ?Make your own DVD-video?, Nero Vision Express 3 comes up but there in no option to make a DVD. It only shows (make a cd, make a movie, make slide show, capture video to hard drive, and open save project or disc image) . I have made many DVD before with Nero 6. The last time I had this problem (3 months ago), I had to reformat my hard drive. Do you have any idea what is going on. I have done the following:

Use systems restore
Downloaded and used Nero-Clean Tool (for Nero 6)
General Clean Tool
Uninstalled Nero 6
Reinstalled Nero 6 (It did ask me for my serial number so I guess the registry was clean)
Downloaded the latest updates
Rebooted the computer after each install.

System info:
Dell Inspiron 5150
60 gig HD
External 80 gig HD
Win XP

Any suggestions ??????????
