Can FTP into MC, but not HDD??

I've followed the newbie tutorial guide and used the MC exploit to run the FTP server on the ps2. I can open the MC/0 folder but when I open the hard drive folder, nothing is in it although I have several games on the hdd from hdloader. HDL DUMB can see them fine, as long as the hdd is physically installed in my PC.

Use DMS Tools (.elf file) to create a partion on the PS2 HD, and you will be able to see the HD through ftp.
