Just preping my X-Box to install Xecuter 3.0 on my X-Box version 1.6. The reason why I am posting is to hopefully provide a "newbie" guide with links that I have found from AfterDawn and any other sites I have found. I do not want to point ppl away from AfterDawn, I have found it to be the best resource so far, but hopefully help ppl who have limited or no exp with modding thier X-Box with mod chips, and what better person to do so, then with someone who has just started out :)

At the momment I have used http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/open1.php to take apart my X-Box to prep it for installation of Xecuter 3.0, I will not post where I got the chip unless I know that the admins allow posting of store sites, but non the less it came down to $101.86 CDN, that includes COD Canadian Xpresspost shipping and all taxes. All in all I have found it to be an avg price for the chip.

As of now I'm waiting for my chip to arrive, I'll keep this thread updated as time progresses.
