My question is: Is it possible only to take some part of the movie of a dvd-disc???

Are you asking if it is possible to take certain chapters out of a DVD? Or were you interested in just the main movie itself and removing the extras? If you meant the latter, you can re-author your movies with DVDShrink.

My assignment is that I have to take out a scene from the DVD "Wizard of OZ" and put it in a PowerPoint presentation...

use powerdvd and use the capture scene option.
