PS2 not reading ne of my Dvd-r or Dvd+r

Hi i own a v3 Ps2 with a Matrix Infinity modchip. I tried burning many games with dvd decrytor with 1x and i adjusted my dvd pot to be sure of maximum performance. YEt it does not work... ne suggestions?

Make sure your using quality Media.

Also try to have no programs running in the
background whilst your burning your game.
Also +r is not for ver3 use -r on good media.

yea but wat weird is my ps2 can read my DVD+R MOVIES.. that i burned using low end quality at 4x...

Were Talking about backing up ps2 games not movies.
(They are not the same)
Try using Verbatim media for your games,
and save the cheap media for your movies,

At any rate To save time and money use quality media and burn no more than 2.4x for your ps2 backups

jizmak is right except for the part where plus is not for ver3!
I have a version3 and games load much faster with plus!
In game graphics on games such as gta dont disapper or fade away like they do with the minus discs.
why some people say that v4 or less dont read +r at all is beyond me...? maybe laser issues or there probably using poor media.
Use quality media guys, ive been using Verbatim data life dvd+r's and they havent let me down so far =)

I have heard Maxell MXL are good,

Personally I like Verbatim MCC they use
AZO Dye which is darker and works well
even at faster speeds.
