Hello everyone i am new to this forum.
I have a question. I have a V2 PS2. It is old like 2-3 years i think. And i always used a V2 cd to start CD-R's backups on this PS2. Now there is a problem i can't play any backup DVD's with this CD. Ia lso tried downloading some CD loaders but still the same thing. What should i do?

a version 2 'what?' cd, to start cd-r backups. If you want to play cdr and dvdr backups get the SwapMagic discs, they'll load all your backups.

Well i have a mod chip called AR2 V2 and also a cd with it. I know it is for cheat codes but the cd launches backup Cd-r's. When i try to launch a DVD backup with it it won't play it.

Is there a way or a file that you burn on CD that can able you to play DVD backups? I tried some CDLoaders found in http://www.swapmagicfix.com/ but they don't open the CD. When i use the CD Loader for example it says invalid media for the DVD. Also with the other versions of the cd loaders.

the cd loaders are fixes for there designated game.

Well i don't think my mod chip enables me to load any dvd. Since i got my PS2 i have this chip. When i wanted to put a mod chip for DVD games they told me that if they put this mod in my PS2 it will not work because my PS2 was old. I wanted to put a newer mod chip but they say that newer will aslo not work.

hursty, thats not a mod chip.. its a cheat code CD like gameshark. Its called Action Replay 2 Version 2. It can boot CD games but thats old. You need the swap magic discs to play any burned PS2 discs (and it means CDR or DVDR). Go to http://swapmagic3.com

lol....sometimes people mix up the words
which makes helping abit tougher. hopefully the swap magic disks will help him.. and if your getting them get the newer versions. swap magic disk v3.3
