just go with -r

For my ver7 i use verbatim +r
No coasters yet!!!!
1)-Use good media (not Memorex)---Bad
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
2)-Turn off any background apps when burning
game backups
3)-Dont burn any higher than 2.4x
Some ps2 ver 1-4 have problems with +r
But for ver7 you should use +r
(Loads quicker)

well i have ver 7 (39001) and i just bought memorex DVD+R. these should be fine you think? also please look at my CD loader thread. i need help with that too

err versions v4 or older cannot read +R.. only v5 and newer are able to use +R.

you can use it but you might.. MIGHT have issues... i suggest better media but yuo can use it like i am hehehe.. i got better DVD+R media just in case

taiyo yuden is the best DVD/CD manufacture ever.. burns great with PS2 and PS1 and everything heh.

So are Verbatim DVD+-R's the best, and are they what your calling taiyo yuden?. Cause I just got a 25pack of Ritek G04 4x DVD-R's and I've seen people are sayin to get them cause their good for PS2 games. So what are the BEST??.

ritek go4's which i have are good for my ps2.. but if they are ea games i need dvd+r which i use verbatim or TDK, and i also use FujiFilm which are the Taiyo Yuden. im not sure if they are all Taiyo Yuden, but the 100 pack i got are full of Taiyo Yuden.
