Hi, i recently bought a duo 2 chip from www.modchipstore.com and hte guy who was helping me install it said it was a fake or a clone and i was wondering if anyone else had this trouble? and also does anyone know where i can get a real duo 2 or duo 2 se chip for around $25 shipped?

how does he know it is a clone? i just bought one from there a few days ago and am having lots of problems with it. i hope it isn't fake!

I bought 3 DUO2's from the same place. One of them worked, the other 2 did not. I have read in several places where the DUO2's have alot of trouble booting. Best bet would be to order the DMS3 or DMS4 mod chips. Installation was about the same, and the chips are alot more stable. I installed two of them last night and didn't have a snag. The benefit about the DMS chips are the fact that they are BIOS upgradeable. I had a backup disk that wouldn't play at first, downloaded the BIOS upgrade and Voila! the game worked perfectly.

hey people dont buy www.premodds.com they claim to be the best in the mod chip market but they are wrong, I buy from them and I cant play my cds' backups and believe me Im not a newbie in this so they just take my money and then Im on my account because they dont know what happen you know like all the quacks ads you see in the tv something like that
