Hi, i am in a spot of bother where I recently had my two modded xbox networked with a cross-over cable directly.

firstly i was able to create a networked game (Race Driver 2 - V8 Supercars), but during the games a flashing warning would pop up saying "please connect the network cable.. waiting 8 seconds.. 7 seconds " and so on.

Now the two Xboxes do not recognise the link between the cross over cable (have tried three x-overs), but when i connect the xboxs to my network via straight thru via my switch they pick up the network immediately.

i have set the two boxes with static IP's
both boxes are modded with evolution x dash v1.8.368

If anyone could assist i would be very grateful...
