This is my first post here. So please forgive me if this question has been asked before...
I have a stand-alone consumer CD recorder (Pioneer PDR-W839) which accept only Audio CD's. I know there is no difference between Audio CD's and Data CD's except a tax is being paid on the Audio CD's which makes them much more expensive. The problem is that Audio CD's are slowly disappearing from the market -at least in my area here, which will force my recorder to become obsolete in a short time. The question is...can the recorder be modified or "hacked" to accept standard data discs? Any help would be appreciated.
