for people who are having trouble with there plexors speed you have to make plexor the "master". plextor is a freak for being master . once you do that go to your dma mode settings. it should read dma 4 which is real fast . make sure you have the right jumper cables (which come in plextor package)that is the key.you need a 80 pin cable to get full speed. i hope this helps out and good burning .......

Your DMA could also read 2 if it is the Ultra DMA mode, even faster than standard DMA.It all depends on the chipset on your motherboard.
