Wasting DVD-rs, need help...

DVD shrink keeps giving me errors, after it worked fine for a while. At the end of encoding and shrinking the dvd, it gives an error at the very end (around 98%) saying..."Dvd Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read file "E:\" Data error(cyclic redundancy check). PLEASE HELP, thank you.

try cleaning the disc,thats probably the cause.

If cleaning the disc dont work then the might likely reason would be that the disc is damaged.

If this is the case you may be able to rip just the movie files, in the hope that the bad sector of the disc is laying in the extras part of the disc.
