Recently, I upgraded from an ATI 9700 PRO to an AIW 9800 PRO, and reinstalled Win XP Pro at the same time.

Before, I had a large selection of video clips that all played fine, and were decent quality. I had no idea that codec packs and things like that were "bad", so I had installed several codec packs ontop of each other. K-Lite mega pack, and some other ones too. I know now that was a bad idea, but ironically, all my clips played fine!

Now, many movies, of different formats, play back "blocky" and "blurry" when there is quick motion on screen, and sometimes even when there isn't.

I've read and followed the sticky codec FAQ about installing codecs from Praetor, and had no luck. I've tried playing the clips with Windows Meida Player 10, and 6.4.8.2 and 6.4.09.1128. No luck. Sloppy playback no matter what.

I have screen shots of what GSPOT and AVICodec say about a sample clip, and my system, but am unable to post them. I dont have a webhost anymore.
