Philips DVP 642 - Can't clear screen watching Clerks DVD

Just bought the Philips 642/37 and when I play the
Clerks Uncensored Animated DVD episodes , I can't get the
camera icon in the top right corner off the screen.

If I press "angle", the version changes and the camera icon switches to the camera and 2/2.

But I can't get it off the screen. It's always there when watching the episodes.
I've been experimenting without success.
