The chip already plays my Japanese dvds and DVD-RWs, but it won't play my backedup games. Do I need to flash the chip with something? Also the only button that works is Square as the "Hold down to boot up" and it turns the chip off. Any tips would be greatly appriciated. All the connections on the solder work are great. There is only one wire that wasnt hooked up, but it was listed under the Jap install part. I dont remember the letter, but I didnt need it, I have an American version. Its a V9 also. Thanks for any help.
