New poster here. I did do a search of the forums on "closed captions" and didn't turn up anything that would answer my question(s).

I'm using "vsrip" to extract the captions to a *.cc.raw file. From what I've read, I'm thinking that the next step would be to use "ccparser" to convert the raw cc data to a format that can be used for subtitles. But when I run ccparser on the *.cc.raw file created by vsrip, I get the following error:

Unable to get first header
Parsing error

So, it seems I'm not doing something right.

I would have thought that this was something for which there would be a howto or guide, but I cannot find one.

Can anybody help out here?
