I extracted the rar file which was the iso i believe
when i extracted it, it was then another rar file which was much bigger this time
to burn the game u gotta burn the iso, is this the iso??

think of a rar file as a zip file in a way.
its basically a collection of files, "packed up" or "compressed"
the iso is the actual image file for the disc
so if you have a rar file it could be that it still needs further unpacking and then you get the iso
or
you unpack it to a multitude of files, meaning you need to CREATE the iso from them. (qwix, craxtion etc)
