Suspended due to non-functional email address

90% of the dvds i re-author to get dvd9 to fit on a dvd5, freezes. this is not a pattern, sometimes it plays for 30 minutes before freezing - it seems the bigger/longer the movie, the more it freezes.
any help out there??

could be a media related issue...which media are you using? if you'd like more info on different media try this site, which you may, or may not have, seen already:

one solution is to try writing at a slower speed. also, try changing your target size to somewhere between 4300-4360.

it seems in most cases your issues can be resolved by making the changes above, and using better media.

You need to remove your email address from this forum unless you want to be inundated with spam and other emails.
Your problem sounds like media, but may be other things, such as burn speed too high, 4x is what most people here use. Defragging hard drives often is a good idea too.
Try a DVD-RW until you sought out the problem.
