yes i bought 100 of the dvd-r and ran it through dvd info pro and this is what i got

I didn't find an exact match for that code on digitalfaq.com so I would be wary of fakes. For your sake, I hope its genuine TDK. Good luck!

Its not fake. digitalfaq hasnt been updated since sept. It's quality media. I've burned about 50 flawlessly.

Hey can you minimize the DvdInfopro and repost the picture ;)

Actually I've seen on several forums that the TDK at Best Buy were showing up as TY's or RICOJPN. I believe they said that if the spindle said "MADE IN JAPAN" it was coming up TY's.
