hey i ripped troy to mpeg 2 format and when i try to burn it using mydvd, it says the file is way too large, even tho it's only like 3.6 mb. can i not burn the movie in mpeg 2 format? if not, then what format must i convert it to?

What sofware did you rip it with?
If you are simply trying to back up a original DVD then you are doing it wrong my friend. Check out my guide here
