Dvd Shrink will let you do that, and it's free. Check the download section if you haven't already gotten it. Sorry I have never used Clone before so don't know if it's possible.

Here is what works great for me when I want to get the extras. I reauthoe with DVD Shrink and copy just the main movie to a separate DVD. This allows minimal compression and gives the best copy. I then make a separate copy of the entire disc to get the extras, though at a lower quality. I don't care much about the best quality on the extras. It uses 2 discs, but they're cheap.

I haven't tried cutting out stuff from the extras disc, but I expect one might be able to cut out the main movie (you already have it.) However, sometimes if you cut out anything, the disc menus won't work. Menues might be important in an extras disc or with foreign films.

I use DVD Decrypter and copy the original DVD to a Hard drive, then I use Shrink to reauthor and/or compress as do so many Afterdawn folk do. I then burn a disc using Roxio's Easy Media Creator 7. I know a number of folk have not liked Roxio's stuff, but it works great for me. I used to exit all those little programs that run in the background (use msconfig to disable startup items) but now I just forge ahead with no problems. Just be sure you disable standby or hibernation, or else sit there and wiggle the mouse every so often.

Hope this helps a bit.

I used to use DVD XCopy Express. It worked OK, but the combination of Decrypter, Shrink and Easy Media Creator 7 gives me greater flexibility. From what I read, each program does one thing (like decrypting, compressing or burning) better that another. Each of these steps is independent, so why not use the program best suited for the task. I have not researched this issue very far, but other on AD apparently have.

Despite negative comments about Roxio's Easy Media Creator, it works well for me. I have been using it to burn DVDs even at 8X speed, with no problems os far. Besides, I already had it installed. Much of the negative response was about Roxios Drag-to-Disc feature. Seems it can give other burner programs the fits. But, I happen to like it, and I figured Roxio's own burning software ought to be able to work with thier own Drag-to-Disc. So far, so good.
