I have been using shrink and decrypter for quite a while. Just recently I have started getting all kinds of I/O errors with decrypter. Nothing on my system has changed and shrink is still working fine. Could this be a disc quality problem??
It well may be a media problem, what are you using?
Have you downloaded the latest DVD Decrypter?
Burning too fast may also be a problem, most here burn at 4x and no higher.
I just had the same problems it is a media problem. I was reading lightnings post on DVD Decrypter forum. he says almost all i/o errors are from media.
I have the newest version and I burn at 2X. I have these crappy ass Memorex discs. I read a lot of postings that say they are junk. I wish I would have read them before I bought this junk.
I would only like to add HP as a decent brand should you see it on sale.
One last addition, it doesn't hurt, while you're shopping for those new discs, to pickup one of those laser lens cleaning discs. They should be used every so often to ensure your burns remain trouble free from dust and dirt -
I also seem to be having thr same issue. I have been using it without a problem for about a month - I have been using Decrypter to burn the immages. Then all of the sudden today I have been getting these i/o error messages. Any ideas?
