I keep reading you have to use a USB cable to connect this phone to the PC. I'm using Motorola Mobile Phone Tools. I have a serial Motorola cable, that connects to the phone, but this version(1.23) of Motorola Tools I have doesn't seem to support my phone, or atleast I can't find it in the list. I just d/led MMPT V3.11h Final, maybe that will support this phone.

Also if I'm using Cingular on this phone, what type is my phone:
GSM, CDMA or TDMA?

I'm sorry for the newbie like question, but this is new to me.
