Action Replay with HDAdvance

Does anyone know how to get action replay working with HDAdvance, I do not mean allowing cheating with HD Games but I am more interested in getting it online to download game saves etc. It will load but when I try to do an online function such as check for updates or load memory manager if freezes and a continual buzzing sounds.
Any advice would be appreciated!
