How to browse internet from modded and networked Xbox?

Assistance please from anyone able.
I was told by the guy who modded my XBox that I can browse the internet but he wasn't sure where to do it. I have the Box networked to our computer with broadband and am getting current weather in the media centre however cannot find where to browse the net. Any assistance is much appreciated.

You need a browser to browse the Internet. That is the general idea.
First, you need to find out if there is any browser that runs on the xbox. Then you're all set.
As far as I know, the browsers that maybe able to run on a xbox are linux-based.
