Ok, I'm not a Linux user, not a C++ programmer AND not a Mac user, but as there's a helluva big Mac community out there, I was just wondering would it be somehow possible to port some of the Linux's best DVD ripping packages, dvd::rip, to Mac OSX?

Just an idea for programming guys out there..

Since OSX is based on BSD UNIX and most Linux apps are ported to FreeBSD with no problems I would think it should be no problem.
