can anyone tell me if they are having problems with copying the forgotten & Friday night lights
if so is there a fix that i can use i can not ripp
these movies

I thing FNL uses the newer sector protection anticopying scheme, so you'll probably need the newest DVD Decrypter or AnyDVD.

you can use vobblanker to rip the files to your hd then any shrink program will work to get it to dvd5
