does the start/end frames in shrink only work in reauthor mode? i want to do a movie in full disc mode so i can keep the menus and extras but use the start/end frames too.
can the start/end frames be used, for example, to edit out certain parts of the movie, such as scenes that may be too violent for kids to watch?

Sorry, the start/end frames option only works in reauthor mode. So, you're going to lose menus and extras if you use it.
